Fixing the mess

I may laugh it off but I don’t take it as a joke. What people say matters, down to the particulars. Change doesn’t happen by taking leaps. That’s how disaster works. Change happens with calculated small steps. Take the approaching 8 years of my recovery for example. Every year I still realize strides in my recovery I never knew would be possible. Even small things like being able to hop with my left leg. Life is a blessing when you treat it as such. A curse when you dread. Time for us as able body and able minded citizens of this world to get to work fixing the mess rather than complaining about it
